“It is one thing to help conflict victims, as I desired to do when I was a student. It is another thing to utilize expertise and infrastructure in assistance work, as I did during my non-profit internship. It is yet an even greater thing to bring aid in the name of Jesus, to represent and to serve His kingdom, as I can through SWIC. At SWIC, I’ve had the chance to put all of these pieces together to help heal and restore the Christian community in Iraq. SWIC has the heart, history, and humble faith to foster real change.” – volunteer
