On the way home we stopped here at our partner Hanna’s suggestion. This is the Shrine of Marbina Qadisha, not far (3 KM) from the city of Koya. A perfect end to a perfect trip!

The Road To Sulamaniyah

This is what our donors are building. We pray that 4 weeks time will see the families in new caravan homes.

More work being done. Cutting and grinding — with Chris Bishop and Benjamin Bell.

Work on the caravans

Quint: So much for the weight I lost on this trip. This is the aftermath of a sumptuous seven course feast our brothers and sisters prepared for our dining and communing PLEASURE. Incredible !!! We then received beautiful gifts, as if being with family whom we love is not enough (IT IS !!!!) from our hosts that I wish I could parcel out to every SWIC team member and donor . This project is nothing without you ! THANK YOU !!!â€

is 90 miles, 3 hours, with lots of mountain driving. The mountain roads would make for great hill climb rally race. Here, I take a photo of Fr. Chris taking photo. Note our bovine buddies in the background

…or what you see if you fall or drive off it.

The Road to Sulamaniyah
